We can do it! We can provide a nourishing meal to a family in need right here in the Great Neck community.
We are excited to share this new opportunity: "GreatFull" the Great Neck Feeding Project. This two-session project (with future additions to be announced) can be the start of a wonderful Bar/Bat Mitzvah project or simply a meaningful way to give back to the surrounding community and to build connections with other Temple Beth-El members.
Here is how it works:
Your family (at least one adult and one child) can volunteer to join us for two evenings and prepare a meal for 4-5 people in need in Great Neck each night.
Thursday's, April 27th & May 18th 6-9pm (commit to two hours that work best for your schedule)
· An industrial kitchen
· Kitchen tools and supplies
· Recipes and gourmet guidance
· A little Jewish wisdom with our clergy
You do the shopping (we’ll provide a simple shopping list). All meals will be delivered the next day to our friends at St. Aloysius Church. Questions? Need more info? Want to join us? Let us know soon. A very limited number of spaces are available.
