SISTERHOOD GOES LITERARY –
OUR BOOK CLUB
Sisterhood’s literary conversations in 2015-2016 are being incorporated into our Rosh Chodesh programming. Our Rosh Chodesh gatherings on November 9, January 11, and May 9 at 7:45 p.m. will feature book discussions. All women in the congregation are welcome to join in the discussions.
On November 9, 2015, former Sisterhood President Sandy Lubert will lead us in a discussion of Tender at the Bone, an entertaining and humorous memoir by former New York Times food critic and former Gourmet magazine editor-in-chief Ruth Reichl. On January 11, 2016, Rabbi Tara Feldman will lead us in a discussion of Boston Girl, a touching novel about the life of a woman born in 1900 to immigrant Jewish parents. The subject of our May 9, 2016 discussion will be announced later.
