It is customary to make a donation to tzedakah (charity) out of respect and remembrance for a loved one, to express sympathy to someone, or to honor a significant milestone in a person’s life. Donations benefit Temple Beth-El in a variety of ways.

purchases Torah commentaries for Sabbath Services
Repairing the World
• Sisterhood Helen Zaner Services for the Blind
provides talking books for the sightless
• Jenny Spielman Social Action Fund
supports “Tikkun Olam” – repairing the world – focusing on the political
and social needs of our community
• Mitzvah of the Month Fund
helps support Mitzvah of the Month projects
• Sheldon Meisenberg Service Award Fund
acknowledges service by High School students and supports our Confirmation program
